The AIM Kalam Award is a national honor that recognizes individuals who reflect the vision and values of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, celebrating their selfless service and social impact.
This year, 100 awards will be presented — 75 for social service achievers from Tamil Nadu and 25 for inspiring contributors from other states.
The theme is “1 Crore Trees by 2026.” Already 2.5 lakh trees planted across the nation.
The AIM Kalam Award carries the name of one of India’s most respected leaders — the People’s President — and reflects Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s lifelong message of service, education, innovation, and nation-building. For the last 9 successful years, the award has recognized real-life champions who create meaningful change in society. With 100 prestigious awards presented across India, it offers a powerful platform to showcase the work of social service champions nationwide.
Honoring Tamil Nadu as Dr. Kalam’s homeland, 75 awards are dedicated to changemakers from the state, making it a heartfelt tribute to his roots. The award highlights individuals solving real-world problems such as education for underprivileged children, environmental protection, women empowerment, health camps, rural development, and more.
By celebrating these achievers, the AIM Kalam Award inspires others — especially youth — to join the mission of building a better, more developed India. Awardees become part of a nationwide community committed to Dr. Kalam’s ideals, enabling collaboration, unity, and larger impact. Unlike awards driven by popularity, the AIM Kalam Award honors character, dedication, and service — the values Dr. Kalam cherished above all.
